Maintenance Planning
Maintenance planning structures the preventive, predictive, and corrective work needed to keep battery production lines running at target uptime. As a hard skill it requires building maintenance schedules in a CMMS, defining task lists for line equipment (mixers, coaters, presses, formation testers), and managing spare parts inventory for long-lead items. Planners apply these techniques to coordinate planned outages around production schedules, hit the mean-time-between-failure targets that make pack delivery commitments realistic, and reduce unplanned downtime.
