Control systems regulate the physical processes — temperature, pressure, flow, motion, voltage — that govern battery cell production from slurry mixing through formation. As a hard skill it requires fluency in PID tuning, PLC ladder logic, SCADA configuration, and instrumentation diagnostics. Engineers apply these techniques to hold tight tolerances on coating thickness, drying oven temperature profiles, and formation charging curves where small deviations affect cell capacity and safety.
