Continuous Integration/Delivery (CI/CD)
Continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines automate the build-test-deploy cycle for BMS firmware, factory-floor software, and the data tooling around battery production. As a hard skill it requires fluency in pipeline-as-code (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins), test parallelization, artifact management, and the safety-critical discipline of staged rollouts when the artifact ends up running on a pack monitoring hundreds of charged cells. DevOps and firmware engineers apply this when shipping BMS firmware updates to fleet vehicles, deploying MES code to a production line during planned downtime, and rolling out the analytics dashboards that operators rely on for real-time yield monitoring.
