The Cold Regions Research & Engineering Laboratory (CRREL) is a U.S. Army ERDC laboratory focused on solving challenges in Earth’s coldest regions. Its mission is to advance and apply science and engineering for the Army, DoD, and the Nation in cold, complex, and extreme environments. CRREL values innovation, collaboration, and service, working with partners across government, academia, and industry. Headquartered in Hanover, NH with facilities in Alaska, it delivers technologies, facilities, and expertise to keep operations safe and effective.
