Military Power Sources Consortium (MPSC)
The Military Power Sources Consortium (MPSC) is an independent, non-profit organization established in July 2022 to sustain the full life cycle of the domestic military power production base. It bridges the gap between business, academia, and government by acting as a collaborative forum for the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) and private industry. The primary mission of the consortium is to develop a collective voice on preserving the domestic design, manufacture, and deployment of both renewable and non-renewable energy storage systems. To tackle modern energy challenges, the consortium hosts conferences and runs specialized initiatives like the MPSC Battery Maintenance Committee to establish industry-wide best practices for lithium-ion and advanced thermal batteries. Ultimately, the consortium works to ensure domestic energy security, promote reliable "Made in the USA" sourcing, and deliver advanced operational power to the warfighter.
