International Lithium Association (ilia)
The International Lithium Association (ILiA) is the global, non-profit trade association that represents the entire lithium supply chain. Established in 2021 by leading lithium producers, it serves as the central voice for the industry during a period of unprecedented market growth driven by electric vehicles. The London-based organization includes over 60 members from 20 countries, encompassing approximately 85% of global lithium mine output. Its primary mission is to promote Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles, ensuring that high-quality lithium is supplied sustainably and responsibly. Additionally, ILiA acts as a trusted global authority, offering technical guidance, data, and industry resources to regulators, governments, and the general public.
