Electric Vehicle Association of Asia Pacific (EVAAP)
The Electric Vehicle Association of Asia Pacific (EVAAP) is an international membership organization founded in 1990 to promote the development and adoption of electric and hybrid vehicles across the Asia-Pacific region. It serves as the official regional representative to the World Electric Vehicle Association (WEVA), collaborating alongside parallel organizations in North America and Europe. The association helps organize the International Electric Vehicle Symposium (EVS), which rotates globally as the world’s largest conference for battery, hybrid, and fuel cell technologies. EVAAP focuses heavily on facilitating information exchange, addressing urban air pollution, and encouraging policies that mitigate global warming.
