What is Massive Open Online Courses? (MOOCs)
Massive open online courses (MOOCs) are online learning opportunities designed to be accessible to large audiences, often at little to no cost. In addition to platforms like Alison, Coursera, and Udemy, you’ll find other popular training providers listed to the right. MOOCs have grown significantly in popularity since around 2011–2012, becoming a widely used option for flexible, self-paced learning.
