Certified Manufacturing Engineer (CMfgE)
Offered by the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME), the CMfgE certification is designed for manufacturing engineers who have a comprehensive understanding of manufacturing processes, systems, and technologies. It covers topics such as manufacturing operations, supply chain management, process improvement, and quality control. To earn your CMfgE certification, a minimum of 8 combined years of manufacturing-related education and work experience (a minimum of 4 years work experience) is recommended. If you hold a CMfgT certification, you can qualify with 7 combined years of manufacturing-related education and work experience.
