Project Management Professional (PMP)
The Project Management Institute (PMI) issues the PMP certification, which certifies the candidate's ability to manage all elements of a professional project, including its goals, people and processes. Engineers and other professionals must have at least 5 years of project management experience, including 7500 hours of project leadership experience. Holders of 4-year degrees only require 3 years and 4500 hours.
