International Council for Machinery Lubrication (ICML) Certifications
The International Council for Machinery Lubrication (ICML) offers nine levels of certification encompassing four different areas of responsibility. Three levels are available for machine lubricant analysts, which are geared for in-plant technicians who work on a daily basis with lubrication tasks. Laboratory lubrication analysts who analyze lubrication data and samples for machine condition monitoring can select from three levels of training as well. Two levels of certification are available for machinery lubrication technicians. Designed as an engineering-level, lubrication-focused certification for reliability and asset management professionals, the machinery lubrication engineer program is specially designed to help management guide their companies to achieve the company-wide ICML 55 certification as a tactical step towards ISO 55001 certification.
