Engineering Management Certifications
Engineering management is the art and science of planning, organizing, allocating resources, and directing and controlling activities which have a technological or systems component. Engineers whose job requires them to complete projects on time and on schedule, work in teams, and assume management or leadership duties must solve complex problems that require expertise and training in these principles. The American Society for Engineering Management (ASEM) provides two certification options: individual professional certification, i.e., the Certified Associate in Engineering Management (CAEM), and graduate degree certification, i.e., Certified Professional in Engineering Management (CPEM).
