Western Colorado Community College
Western Colorado Community College is a two-year division of Colorado Mesa University based in Grand Junction, Colorado, offering associate degrees, certificates, and workforce training programs for the Western Slope of Colorado. WCCC provides programs in automotive technology, diesel technology, welding, HVAC, electrical technology, computer information technology, business, and construction management, directly serving the energy, construction, and manufacturing workforce of Mesa County and the surrounding region. The college's programs in diesel and heavy equipment technology are closely tied to the oil and gas and construction industries prevalent in western Colorado. WCCC's electrical technology program prepares students for careers as electricians in the region's energy and construction sectors. As a division of Colorado Mesa University, WCCC students have access to advising and transfer pathways into CMU's bachelor's and technical programs.
