University of New Mexico-Gallup
University of New Mexico-Gallup (UNM-Gallup) is a public two-year branch campus of the University of New Mexico located in Gallup, New Mexico, serving McKinley County and the surrounding Navajo and Zuni communities. The campus offers an Associate of Science in Science providing transfer-ready foundations in biology, chemistry, and physical sciences for students continuing to UNM Albuquerque and other four-year programs. Automotive Technology and Welding Technology programs — available at both the certificate and AAS levels — serve the region's vehicle service and construction workforce needs. Construction Technology programs develop skilled workers for the ongoing infrastructure development across the Navajo Nation and rural western New Mexico. UNM-Gallup's Environmental Planning and Design AA program connects students with GIS, land use, and environmental management careers relevant to the region's tribal lands and natural resources.
