University of Maine at Presque Isle
The University of Maine at Presque Isle is a public institution founded in 1903 in Presque Isle, in Maine's Aroostook County, serving the educational needs of northern Maine with bachelor's and associate degree programs. STEM programs include computer science, cybersecurity, mathematics, environmental science and sustainability, applied science, and biology, providing strong quantitative and technical foundations for careers in Maine's technology and environmental sectors. The Maine Engineering Pathways program allows UMPI students to begin engineering coursework before transferring to a fully accredited engineering program within the UMaine System.
