University of Alaska Fairbanks
The University of Alaska Fairbanks is Alaska's flagship research university, located in Fairbanks and recognized internationally for research in Arctic engineering, natural resources, and environmental science. The College of Engineering and Mines offers ABET-accredited bachelor's and master's degrees in aerospace, civil, computer, electrical, geological, mechanical, and mining engineering, as well as energy resource engineering, directly supporting Alaska's oil, gas, and mining industries. The College of Natural Science and Mathematics provides bachelor's through doctoral programs in mathematics, physics, chemistry, geoscience, climate science, and fisheries, reflecting UAF's role as a world center for Arctic and subarctic research.
