UAF Community & Technical College
UAF Community & Technical College is the vocational and trades arm of the University of Alaska Fairbanks, offering certificate and associate degree programs from its campus at Fairbanks International Airport and through affiliated facilities across Interior Alaska. The aviation program is one of the largest in the state, offering associate degrees in aviation maintenance and professional piloting, along with certificates for airframe, powerplant, and unmanned aircraft operations, supporting Alaska's uniquely aviation-dependent transportation network. The Industrial Process Operator program trains students for careers in oil and gas production, mining, chemical manufacturing, power generation, and water treatment facilities across Alaska's resource economy. Information Technology programs include an AAS and certificates covering network administration, cybersecurity, and computer support for Alaska's government and private sector employers. Additional certificate programs in automotive technology, diesel and heavy equipment, welding, instrumentation and automation, drafting, and mining mill operations provide comprehensive trades training for Alaska's construction, mining, and energy industries.
