St. Clair County Community College
St. Clair County Community College (SC4) is a public two-year community college located in Port Huron, Michigan, at the southern tip of Lake Huron along the Michigan-Ontario border. The college offers Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, and Software Development programs that align with regional technology workforce needs in the Blue Water Area. Engineering Technology programs in Electronics, Mechatronics, Precision Machining, Welding and Fabricating, and Engineering Graphics and CAD serve the area's manufacturing and industrial base, including automotive suppliers and chemical industry employers along the St. Clair River. A broad Associate of Science transfer pathway covers chemistry, physics, mathematics, and engineering prerequisites for students pursuing four-year STEM degrees. SC4's location on the international border with Canada and its proximity to the Port Huron industrial corridor give graduates access to a cross-border manufacturing and engineering labor market.
