Phoenix College is the founding campus of the Maricopa Community Colleges district, located in central Phoenix and serving a diverse urban student population since 1920. The college offers associate degrees in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Network and Systems Administration, and Programming, preparing students for careers in the Phoenix metropolitan area's large and growing technology sector. An Engineering Technology AAS and Computer Science AS connect students to advanced programs in engineering and computing. Transfer degrees in Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, Mathematics, and Physics support students pursuing STEM careers at four-year universities including Arizona State University. As one of Arizona's oldest community colleges, Phoenix College has a long tradition of providing accessible STEM education to Phoenix's diverse communities.
