Penn State Wilkes-Barre
Penn State Wilkes-Barre is a branch campus of The Pennsylvania State University situated in Lehman Township, Luzerne County, in northeastern Pennsylvania's Wyoming Valley region. As a residential liberal-arts-flavored campus in the Penn State system, it delivers small class sizes and close faculty mentorship while granting access to the full Penn State curriculum and degree-granting power. The campus is particularly notable for housing one of fewer than 30 accredited four-year Surveying Engineering programs in the United States, meeting strong demand for licensed professional surveyors in infrastructure, construction, and land development. Electrical Engineering Technology and Information Technology round out the STEM offerings, preparing graduates for careers in electronics, systems integration, and enterprise technology. Penn State Wilkes-Barre students benefit from the resources of a flagship research university while completing their degrees in a community-focused campus setting.
