Penn State Harrisburg is a comprehensive four-year campus located in Middletown, Pennsylvania, near the state capital, and is the largest and most academically diverse of Penn State's commonwealth campuses. The School of Science, Engineering, and Technology is the academic heart of the campus's STEM mission, offering undergraduate and graduate programs across civil, electrical, mechanical, and computer engineering, as well as engineering technology, mathematical sciences, and computer science. All engineering and engineering technology B.S. programs are ABET-accredited, and the campus offers accelerated integrated B.S./M.S. options in civil engineering, electrical engineering, and computer science for high-achieving students. Penn State Harrisburg is home to south-central Pennsylvania's only interdisciplinary doctoral program in Engineering Systems, as well as master's degrees in civil, electrical, and mechanical engineering, computer science, and engineering management. The campus is deeply connected to regional employers in defense, energy, healthcare technology, and government contracting throughout the greater Harrisburg and Central Pennsylvania corridor.
