Penn State Brandywine
Penn State Brandywine is a branch campus of The Pennsylvania State University located in Media, Delaware County, in the western suburbs of Philadelphia. Serving the greater Philadelphia metro area, the campus provides students with access to Penn State degrees in a smaller, more personalized setting with strong connections to the region's dense technology, defense, and pharmaceutical industry corridor. Its STEM programs include an Engineering B.S. with a Multidisciplinary Engineering Design option, a Computer Science B.S., and technology-focused degrees in Information Technology and Cybersecurity Analytics and Operations — all well-matched to southeastern Pennsylvania's advanced manufacturing and cybersecurity workforce needs. Penn State Brandywine is also home to the STEM Inc (STEM Inclusion and Innovation) program, which supports underrepresented students pursuing STEM transfer degrees. The campus's proximity to Philadelphia creates distinctive co-op and internship opportunities with employers across the aerospace, energy, and digital technology sectors.
