Penn State Abington
Penn State Abington is a four-year commuter campus located in Abington, Pennsylvania, just north of Philadelphia, and is home to nearly 3,000 students pursuing degrees in the liberal arts, sciences, and technology. The campus hosts the Division of Science, Engineering, and Technology, which offers completable bachelor's degrees in computer science, engineering, information technology, cybersecurity, and data sciences. The engineering program leads to a Bachelor of Engineering with a multidisciplinary engineering design option — ABET-accredited — covering electrical, computer, and mechanical engineering, with upper-level coursework completed at Penn State Great Valley. Computer science students at Abington are eligible for an integrated five-year pathway that earns them both a B.S. in Computer Science and a Master of Software Engineering from Penn State Great Valley. Abington also benefits from NSF STEM scholarships supporting students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds in the College of Engineering pipeline.
