Northwest Shoals Community College
Northwest Shoals Community College serves Colbert and Franklin counties from campuses in Muscle Shoals and Phil Campbell, Alabama, offering technical programs in industrial technology, advanced manufacturing, and information technology alongside academic transfer pathways. The college's technical programs use the Associate in Occupational Technology (A.O.T.) degree designation for most workforce programs and cover Industrial Systems Technology with tracks in electrical, mechanical maintenance, machine tool, and welding, as well as Advanced Manufacturing, Drafting and Design Technology, and HVAC. The Computer Information Technology program offers AAS and A.O.T. tracks for general computing, cybersecurity, and networking, making Northwest Shoals a Center for Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense.
