Kenai Peninsula College
Kenai Peninsula College is a community college and extended campus of the University of Alaska Anchorage, located in Soldotna on Alaska's Kenai Peninsula, one of the state's most important oil and natural gas production regions. The Process Technology program, with more than 50 years of industry partnerships, trains students to safely operate and maintain petroleum processing, chemical, utility, and gas production equipment critical to Alaska's energy economy. Industrial Process Instrumentation programs prepare students in the measurement, control, and automation systems essential for safe operations in the Kenai Peninsula's petrochemical and industrial facilities. Welding Technology certificate programs provide hands-on training in structural and pipeline welding for students entering Alaska's oil and gas, construction, and maritime industries. KPC also offers Applied Fisheries programs in partnership with the University of Alaska Southeast, serving the commercial fishing workforce of the Kenai Peninsula.
