Butler County Community College
Butler County Community College (BC3) serves Butler, Armstrong, and Lawrence counties from its main campus in Butler and satellite centers, with an Engineering and Applied Technology division that directly targets western Pennsylvania's manufacturing and energy employment base. BC3's STEM division offers transfer A.S. programs in Chemistry, Engineering, and Computer Science that prepare students for bachelor's completion at four-year institutions including Duquesne University. The college's Robotics Technology and Electronics Technology AAS degrees prepare graduates for careers in automated manufacturing, industrial maintenance, and production systems. Its Networking and Cybersecurity AAS combines hands-on networking with security fundamentals for IT infrastructure roles across manufacturing and enterprise. BC3 also offers welding, CNC/machine tool technology training, Mechatronics Level I and II Workplace Certificates, and an Applied Technology certificate that recognizes prior trade certifications as college credit.
